Pre tubed hog casing
These shoes are very easy to clean and use. Haven't had any problems with blow out and when cooked, they have a very nice snap. Have had a lot of compliments on my sausage made with them.

Pre-Tubed Natural Casings
well worth the extra money, processed 200 lbs not one issue.
We have used the natural casings in the past for regular sausage, brats, (hog casings) and breakfast sausage (sheep casings), and love the end product. This time, for the slight extra in cost; we decided saved time was worth paying a fraction more and went with the pre-tubed. I will say our inexperience made the process slightly slower, but the more we stuffed the easier it became and we will definitely use the product again. Regardless of if you decide to go with Pre-tubed or not, both natural casing products give you the nice "pop" they speak of in their description while not being thick and tough to chew. Great product we will continue to use in both versions.
These are the absolute best casings that I've ever used. Improved packaging appreciated as well.
Make sausage stuffing easier
Tried the pre-tubed natural hog casing for the first time and it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. If you use natural casings, it's the only way to go. It's such a time saver and easy to use. I recommend it.
Easy to use. By far the best casing I have ever used.
There is not enough size information. I had to phone in to make sure would get the correct size.
These are by far the best. I will not use anything else
pre tubed sausage casings
sausage casings were very hard to get off of straws . when they were off they quite often ruptured , would not waste my money again on them. a total waste of time and money not recomended.
Love the pre-tubed natural casings. I had never attempted the natural casings, and I'm glad I used this product for my first attempt. I highly recommend this for beginners.
Ben Forbes Forbes Meat Company
These casings were sub par in quality. They broke easily when twisting and hand no strength what so ever. We press several hundred pounds per week and Id never ever ever buy these again. Tested and failed.
Only casings to use
Have try collagen casings, horrible when cooking....these are great. We prefer the smaller casings as opposed hog casing for our Italian sausage. The ones with the straw inserted are worth the extra money, because the ease of use.....the time saved is amazing.
Easier than untubed
Used 3 so far , 2 were great 1 was not but typical for any natural casings
Pre-tubed Hog Casings
Like the pre-tubed sheep casings, these are convieient and easy to use. They save time and frustration. Casings are all uniform length, no shorts or pieces, and no knots to deal with. They are pricey, considering the cost in relation to a hank, but unless you are making a boatload of sausages, I find they are worth the extra expense. Price is the reason they get 4 stars, but I will continue to purchase these.
Pre-tubed Sheep Casings
Easy to use, as with all natural casings, they seem to work best on a WET metal stuffing tube, vs. the plastic ones. All tubes seem to be equal length, no pieces. A bit pricey, but the time savings and frustration level is low, not having to deal with shorts or knots. Price was the only reason I gave it 4 stars.
