OK. so far this season have made 75 lbs of jerky using this seasoning. I can report that hands-down this is this season's winner. In a nutshell.....I cannot make enough of the stuff. Furthermore, although I would rather not admit to it......I am not a robot.

I have been a LEM customer since.....well, since I had hair. Why? Their products are high quality and you cannot mess it up.....simply follow the instructions. I can never make enough jerky when using Backwoods Seasoning.....it just goes that fast. Whether using beef or venison; you will not be disappointed and everyone will be asking for your recipe. It has a nice smoky flavor. But if you are using a jerky gun, I would suggest mixing the seasoning very thoroughly right into the meat, instead of mixing it in water first. I find that it makes more consistent strips.
I just did my first batch of jerky and have to say it is by far the best I have ever made. I have been making it for years with all kinds of other brands and have never had it come out this tasty! None of the others even come close.Thank you LEM! I can't wait to try the summer sausage and bologna kits!!!
This is by far the best jerky seasoning I've ever tried. What a great balance of smoke ,spice ,and sweet. I use the ground method for ease and tenderness and this worked great. I can't wait to try the other flavors, but this one will stay my favorite.
Best Jerky I've ever had!
Picked up a pack of Hickory Jerky Seasoning at Big R. Followed the directions plus I threw in 1/4 c brown sugar. It turned out to be the best deer jerky I've ever tasted. Great Product! Hint: If meat is partially frozen, it makes slicing a breeze!
