LEM founder designs the perfect skinning knife for hunters!
1 Year Warranty
The Chartreuse Skinner skinning knife was designed by Larry Metz, a professional meat cutter and avid hunter. The handle was designed to be large, easy to grip and well balanced. The 3" stainless steel blade has just the right amount of curve to make skinning a breeze. Lay your finger on top of the blade and the knife feels like it becomes a part of your hand. The polypropylene handle is easy to clean and the color makes it easy to identify - even in the field. You won't find any fancy engraving on this knife, just a comfortable, functional skinner you'll be glad you wrapped your hand around. No fancy price either. Buy one for you and buy one for your buddy, he's going to want one too. The Chartreuse Skinner comes with a belt clip sheath that covers the entire handle. Made in the USA.
  • Bright handle makes it easy find if placed on the ground in the woods
  • Well-balanced, large polypropylene handle
  • Easy to grip and to clean
  • Includes Cordura sheath with belt clip

Wish it was sharper
I have used this knife for two years for fish and one deer. The blade should be thicker and harder. It cuts fish good deer not so good. It is like a ground down kitchen knife. The good parts are the sheath and the handle they are the good parts the blade is questionable.

dull,dull,dull, did i say dull ?
It MIGHT make a good skinning knife if I can get it sharp enough to cut a deers skin. It was shipped with an edge like a butter knife or maybe an oyster shucking knife. My friends are laughing their butts off.

LEM Skinner
I like the setup. It was hard to get a good edge on it because the blade is a little thick. Once I got an edge on it it is easy to keep sharp with a steel. The handle is a little slick if u get a little bloody. I use it for everything from start to finish on a deer and is with me on every hunting trip. It's my go to knife. Overall it's a great setup.
