Slicing meat with a regular knife and cutting board is time-consuming and results in uneven slices. With this double-sided board, you can easily cut thin, uniform slices that dry evenly. The textured board and pressing plate hold meat securely while you slice. Flip the board to choose 1/4" or 1/8" thicknesses.

The kit includes a razor-sharp knife that is longer and narrower than a chef's knife, making it easier to cut extra-thin slices, and the knife can also be used for slicing roasts and other large cuts of meat as well as bread. The high-carbon stainless steel blade holds a sharp edge and the tip is rounded for safety. The blade extends the full length of the ergonomic handle ("full tang") and inserts into the board for safe storage.
Also includes a multipurpose, nonskid Grip Mat to prevent board from slipping during use. Made from mildew-resistant material, it's easy to hand-wash between uses to kill germs and prevent cross-contamination. Mat measures approximately 18" long by 12" wide and can be cut to size as needed.
