Sweet and hot
I tried it with ground meat and it turned out pretty good...so I'm content with the seasonings I ordered
Backwoods jerky seasoning
love your seasioning. But 3 packs of season was hard as rock in package.
I made some deer jerky with LEM's sweat and hot jerky seasoning. I couldn't be happier with this product. Great taste and not too hot.
The Sweet Hot Debate
Heres the deal...taste is a subjective thing. If you like to experiment and try new flavors, sweet hot is for you. If you expect your jerky to taste like all the others then this flavor may not suit. We made ours in snack stick casings, straight up deer meat double grind. Oven dried. Does it wow you with hard hitting smoky salty flavor? It does not. It's more a gentle wave of pleasant yet somehow unfamiliar tastes. Make a five pound batch and decide for yourself, don't be quick to judge. You may find it grows on you. Our next batch will get some hi-temp cheese from Lem.....keep you posted. We should all thank Lem for thinking "outside the hickory" and coming up with new flavors!!
Sweet and Hot Jerky
This was a really good mix, I have made the original, hickory, hot and other jerky seasonings, but this one was by far my favorite. Not too hot, with great flavor.
the Sweet and Hot seasoning is OK at best. I am a backwoods brand guy but this missed the mark. the heat is there. It comes in late, but the sweet isn't really sweet. I was hoping for more of a hot sweet teriyaki. This is not it. Is it edible? yes. Will I buy it again? no. I do recommend Carribean Jerk, Hot, and Regular Jerky spices. These are my go to flavors.
Jerky seasons sweet and hot
I like the original and hot but this stuff was awful threw it outside for the dogs
Super Easy and Great Taste
This kit was super easy to make and tastes amazing. Just like the processed sweet and hot jerky you can get from the store. The recipe is easy enough to follow and allows you to add a little more or a little less seasoning depending on how flavorful you want your jerky. I let mine marinate overnight but think i might let it marinate for 24 hours next time and see if it's even tastier.
