Ingredients:

  • 4 6 oz. Venison filet
  • 2 tablespoon Wild Game Seasoning & Rub
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 whole Portobello mushrooms, stemmed
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Each of pepper and salt

Directions:

Preparation: Rub venison with wild game spice and oil. Marinate 4 hours or overnight in refrigerator.

Mix together the mushrooms, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and Remaining olive oil. Place in plastic bag and marinate at least 4 hours In refrigerator.

On a hot grill cook venison for 4 minutes on each side. Grill mushrooms for 2 minutes on each side. Slice mushrooms, place on top of venison filet and serve.

Best when combined with olive oil and rubbed into meat.
