Directions:

Tex Richardson and his wife shared a favorite hush puppy recipe.
Blend the cornmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cayenne, and garlic powder. Then add finely chopped onion, well drained corn, and oil. Mix the eggs and buttermilk and then add to the mixture.
Spoon mixture into hot (325 degree) cooking oil or loaded into the Jerky Gun and squeeze out in sticks 3" to 4".
