#32 Big Bite Grinder - 1.5 HP
I upgraded from the size 22 to the 32. The 32 is a monster! So for it's been a great purchase. I have processed three deer with it so for this year.
Feed pan on grinder
Pan is way to small for #32 big bite grinder. I would give this unit a 5 if pan was bigger and opening was larger to accommodate larger pieces.
And like the title says, you wont regret this purchase. Plenty of power and I was impressed with how quiet it is. I have used Hobart's in commercial applications for years. You wont be disappointed with this one for home or even small commercial use. It is a very well built machine, the only negative is the meat tray. A grinder of this caliber would benefit from a larger tray and the hand guard isn't user friendly, bit in todays world of liability I understand. Like me, you will find cleanup takes longer than the grinding.
I've used bigger and smaller grinders, this one is a beast.
I got this machine years ago and it still is running great. A great product for the home or small special orders to grind in the shop.
I love the grinder it's a beast the only thing I would like to see Lem do is make the pan size bigger for a grinder of this size the pan needs to be three times the size it is now or at least offer one extra to buy for someone that processes 160 to 200 deer a year in the shop and the neck needs to be bigger so you don't have to cut the meat up so small
I've processed elk & deer with this grinder, and, we also grind our own raw dog food with it. Chicken leg and backbones are no match for this grinder. It will process hundreds of pounds of meat in several hours. Easy cleanup.
Seen grinders a lot larger that didn't grind as good as this. Love mine.
