Wet Brine
As far as the wet smoky brine it doesn't grab the smoke and color that you might want to see, but since it has already pulled the smoke flavor in the curing process you still get a good flavor. Side by side with the dry cure there is a difference that you can see, taste and feel but alone without the other to compare with this makes a good bacon. I cured mine in a bucket and failed to keep it mixed up daily....I thought the seasoning powder and cure was dissolved but it doesn't. I still got a good bacon out of it butI will be sure to mix it daily next batch. I'd buy it again.

Bacon Cure
You purchased your bacon cure and then purchased $88 worth of pork belly to make home made bacon. We followed the instructions to the "T" and when we got done we fried up some of the so called bacon and it did not taste any different then side pork. We are really disappointed in your product and the fact that we are out the $88 we paid for the meat. We will not be buying your product again.
