Mr Barry Brady
I bought the 25lb. stuffer two years ago and have put it to the test with over three thousand summer sausages. It just keeps on going. If you do lots of stuffing go for the big boy.
lems 25# stuffer
We had your old stuffer, white metal framed. It did not last as the gear box broke. We are real pleased with LEM's new model 25lb stuffer. We are pleased with this one... much better built. We as a group have done lots of business with lems in the past. And the way they stand behind there products.we, as group, looking forward to doing much more in the comming years. Lem 25 lb stuffer
My son and I have stuffed 150 lbs of venison sausage this past 2 weeks at our deer camp and the guys were impressed on how fast and nice of a sausage this put out!! We 1st. used it at home during archery season to make sausage and sticks. Great piece of equipment and being all S/S it's easy to clean. I gave it a top rating because it has it all going on for it's self!! To me it's the #1 machine!!! Rod Nace
the good and the bad
overall high quality stuffer that's easy to load, clean, etc. We stuffed 420lbs this weekend and determined that the crank is poorly designed -- the handle doen't transfer the full torque to the gears, and was generally hard to turn on the 25lb model
Poor angle on crank handle
Very impressed with every aspect of the stuffer except for the angle of the crank on the 25 lb. model. It is especially hard to crank compared to other models with a 90 degree angle.
I bought the 25lb. stuffer 3 years ago... its a great stuffer. I would give it 5 stars but when I stuff small diameter sausage, it's not a easy task its pretty hard to turn.
Finally bought a stuffer for myself, did quite a bit of research and ended up with the 25# LEM. Very well built, like the metal plunger. Only time the handle is hard to crank is when doing 5/8 or smaller casings, otherwise no problems. You will not be disappointed, I did 100#'s with the wife last night in about 3 hours.
